Kate Newell Succumbs Oct. 22

Miss Kate Newell passed away October 22nd at the Leptien Nursing Home. She has been an invalid for the past twelve years.

She was born in Vermont September 15, 1877 and came to Nebraska with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Job Newell where they lived for many years on a farm west of Blair.

Survivors are cousins: E.S. Newell of Los Angeles and Miss Laura Davis of Billings, Montana, Willard McKay of Scribner, Madeline Markham of California, Edward Jenkins of Columbus and Katherine Jenkins Ericson of Wahoo are her second cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 25th at 2:00 P.M. in Campbell Mortuary Chapel. The Rev. W.O. Samuelson of Omaha will officiate. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
