DIED IN OMAHA EARLY WEDNESDAY

Mrs. Addie Beales, a lifelong resident of the Blair area, died early Wednesday at an Omaha nursing home where she had been living for several months.

She was the widow of the late Austin R. Beales, well known Washington County farmer and stockman. Prior to her marriage she was Addie Irene Bunn, daughter of a pioneer Washington County farm family living north of Blair.

She was born November 3, 1891 and was, therefore, 79 years old at the time of her death. For many years Mr. and Mrs. Beales had farmed in the Bono School district north of Blair and she had continued to make that place her home for some time after her husband’s death.

She is survived by a niece and nephew. The niece is Mary Ann, wife of Dr. Donald Skoog, of Omaha. The nephew is John (Jack) Bunn, who lives in California.

Surviving stepchildren are Austin Beales, Jr., of Gillette, Wyoming; Mrs. Jane Gaughan, of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Mrs. Audrey Williams of Wahoo, Nebraska.

Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church at 2:00 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Robert Bee conducting the service. Burial, under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary, will be made in the Blair Cemetery.

Pall Bearers will be Ralph Kuhr, Ned Tyson, Alfred Sick, Don Schettler, C. N. Robinson and Pearl Pace.

Note: Since the actual death date was not given, the news article date was used.
