Funeral To Be Wednesday For Mrs. Don Feer

Services are planned for Wednesday, September 19th, for Mrs. Don (Florence) Feer who died Sunday, September 16th, at the Clarkson Hospital in Omaha. Mrs. Feer had been in serious condition for several weeks after being transferred from the Blair Hospital.

The services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the First Methodist Church in Blair with Rev. Patterson officiating. Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Florence Feer was born on November 7, 1918, at Herman, Nebraska. She was 60 at the time of her death. She was married to Don Feer on November 18, 1940, at Jefferson, Iowa. She is survived by her husband Don, one son Virgil and a grandson, all of Blair. A brother, Hank Mortensen, also survives at Rigby, Idaho.

Mrs. Feer was a bank teller at the Washington County Bank and also worked at her husband’s business, Washington County Motors. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge, Blair Hospital Auxiliary, Monday Afternoon Club and the Blair Methodist Church.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Gutschow, Jess Wright, John Young Sr., Wayne Steinbaugh, Les Bucklin and John Andreasen.
