Mrs. William Beales, 83, Buried Today

Mrs. William Beales, of Blair, passed away June 5th at the Memorial Community Hospital.

Flora Mabel Spring was born June 15, 1879 at Blair, the daughter of Henry and Sarah Spring. In 1900, she was married to William B. Beales. To this union, three children were born; Ralph and Kenneth Beales, and Mrs. Mildred Smith, all of Omaha.

In 1915, the family moved from Blair to a farm at Irvington, there they lived until 1952. At that time, they had retired and moved to their present home on 440 North 23rd Street.

Mrs. Beales was baptized and confirmed in St. Johns Church, Missouri Synod, at Florence. After moving to Blair, she was affiliated with the First Lutheran.

She is survived by her husband William; two sons; Ralph and Kenneth, and one daughter Mildred, and her twin sister, Mrs. Cora Hinz of Blair. One brother, Carl Spring, preceded her in death in 1952. One granddaughter Sherry Beales of Omaha also survives.

Services are being held today, (Thursday), at First Lutheran Church with Rev. George Pallesen, officiating. Burial follows in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.

Serving as pallbearers are Ove T. Andersen. Henry Wolsmann, Floyd Hinz, and Robert Petersen all of Blair, Henry Spring of Omaha and Archie Hazard of Irvington.
