Graveside services were held Monday, May 10 at the Blair Cemetery for "Bill" Beaumont who died May 7, 1993 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Rev. Ken Jensen officiated.

Born in Fraser, Iowa, September 28, 1905, William C. Beaumont married Lora Davis, September 29, 1931 in Troy, Kansas. They made Des Moines, Iowa their home where Bill worked construction until 1986, when the couple moved to Blair.

He was preceded in death by daughter Jean Cumes.

He is survived by wife, Lora; son, William, Jr., Florida; daughter, Helen Benton, Fremont; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a sister and brother-in-law, Avis and John Kendall, Lansing, Kansas.
