Ted L. “Jack” Smith

Ted L. “Jack” Smith, 54, of Blair, died on Aug. 16, 1988 at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.

Ted Smith was born on July 6, 1934 as the son of Jess E. Smith and Cleo Mackey Smith in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Mr. Smith was employed by the Nebraska Engineering Company in Omaha for a number of years and also owned Smitty’s Shoe Repair Shop in Blair.

Ted Smith is survived by his mother, Cleo Mackey Smith of Blair; three daughters, Jackie, of Omaha, Brenda, and Lori both of Blair; and one brother, Bill Smith, also of Blair. He is also survived by aunts, nieces and nephews.

The funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 18 at the Campbell Funeral Home. The service will be officiated by Dr. Howard Bailey and interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Survivors include his Mother Cleo Smith; three daughters, Jackie of Omaha, Brenda and Lori Smith of Blair; one brother Bill Smith of Blair. Also Aunts, Nieces and Nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his father Jesse Smith.
