Billy D. “Bill” Anderson, 72, of Blair, died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014, in Omaha.

Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 27, at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Billy Dean “Bill” Anderson, the son of Viggo C. and Birdie J. (Hurdum) Anderson, was born June 4, 1942, in Omaha.

Bill graduated from Blair High School in 1960 and then went to serve in the National Guard. He was raised on the family farm north of Blair, where he continued to farm his entire life.

Bill is survived by his wife, Nancy; sons: Clark Anderson and Grant Anderson; sister Alice Weaver; brother Jim Anderson; nieces: Vicki McCorkle and Sandra (Darren) Higgs; and grandnieces: Megan and Katie McCorkle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Viggo C. and Birdie J. (Hurdum) Anderson.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
