Margaret A. Braesch, 83, of Fremont, formerly of Arlington, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, at A.J. Merrick Manor in Fremont.

The funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Arlington Community Church, U.C.C. in Arlington. The Rev. Penny Greer will officiate. Burial will be in the German Cemetery, north of Bennington. Visitation is Wednesday from 3 to 8 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont and on Thursday at the church one hour prior to the service.

Margaret was born Nov. 12, 1930, in Blair, to Fredrick and Edith (Thaden) Puls. She grew up on a farm near Kennard and was a graduate of Bennington High School.

Margaret married Delbert D. Braesch on May 25, 1952, at St. John's Lutheran Church at Bennington. The couple lived at Elkhorn until 1954 and then lived at Bennington until moving to Arlington in 1958. Delbert died Dec. 28, 2003.

Margaret worked at the former Kmart in Fremont and at Valmont Industries in Valley and also did babysitting for many years.

Margaret was a member of the Arlington Community Church, U.C.C. and the women's organization at the church.

She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law: Thomas and Cindi Braesch of Fremont, Robert and Leanne Braesch of Grand Island and Bryan and Luzviminda Braesch of San Diego, Calif.; daughter and son-in-law Robin and Pete Rix of Fremont; sister Kathleen Puls of Fremont; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Memorials may be given to the Arlington Community Church and to the American Cancer Society.
