Jesse J. Widener Buried At Kenesaw

Jesse J. Widener, 81, of Kenesaw, Nebraska passed away at Mary Lanning Hospital, Tuesday afternoon, February 9th at Hastings.

He was a native of Kennard, Nebraska and went to Kenesaw as a young man. His main occupation in life was a carpenter and he built many houses in Kenesaw.

He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Kenesaw Post #28, American Legion.

He also was a Master Mason and a member of Lodge #317 of Hastings.

His wife died several years ago.

Survivors include nieces and nephews and a cousin, Mrs. Dora Lamb of Kewanee, Illinois.

Funeral services were held Feb. 12 at Methodist Church in Kenesaw, Nebraska.
