Richard is survived by his wife of 66 years, June; children, Billie (Roger) Murdock of North Pole, AK, John (Jan) French, Otis, OR, Jackie (Mike) McCoy, Big Fork, MT, and Jim (Lori) French, Emblem, WY; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Janet (Dick) Noble, Omaha, and Virginia Inclan, Omaha; and brother, Charles (Donna) French of Florida. He was preceded in death by parents, Harold and Drusilla French, Blair, E; and sister Mary Awata of Minnesota. Richard and June built a registered Black Angus operation known as Clay Creek Angus. He was a life member of The American Angus Assoc. In his family’s opinion, Richard was one of the last real cowboys. Richard and June retired in 2001 to Flathead Lake near Dayton, T.
