Funeral services for 89 year old Edna Victoria Nicholson will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2. The services will be at the First Baptist Church, in Blair, with Rev. James Metzgar officiating. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery with the Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Edna Victoria Nicholson was born on January 26, 1891, at Blair, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Linze B. Stricklett and Susannah Esther Gilliland. She resided in Blair until her death on March 30th at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital.

She married Glen Nicholson on April 7, 1912 at Columbus, Nebraska. Glen Nicholson preceded her in death in 1968.

Edna Nicholson is survived by five children. They are Mrs. Frank (Fern) Bauman, Blair; Mrs. Wm. (Edna) Gutschow, Blair; Glen Nicholson, Omaha; Ross Nicholson, Blair and Lewis Nicholson, Denver, Colorado.

One son, George preceded her in death in September of 1973. There are eleven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
