George T. Nicholson Died At His Home Tuesday, Sept. 25

George T. Nicholson, sexton of the Blair Cemetery for a number of years, died at his home in Blair Tuesday, September 25th. He lived at 1639 Park Street in Blair.

The deceased was born in Blair, July 12, 1913 and he lived here all of his life. He was 60 years of age at his death. He has worked at the cemetery much of the time and has been employed as a mechanic when the cemetery work has not required his attention. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, of Blair. He was also a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Eva Ruth Roach, of Tulsa, Oklahoma and by his mother, Mrs. Edna Nicholson, of Blair.

Two sisters survive. They are Mrs. Wm. J. Gutschow (Edna) of Blair and Mrs. Frank Bauman (Fern) of Rock Springs, Wyoming. There are three brothers. They are Glen, of Omaha, Ross of Blair and Lewis of Arvada, Colorado.

Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church Friday with the Rev. James Metzgar conducting the service. Burial will be made in the Blair cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.

Pallbearers will be Joe Stewart, Bob Olson, George Olson, Joe McManigal, Arnold Frahm and Louis Fischer.
