Eleanor B. Nickels, 83

Nebraska native Eleanor B. Nickels, 83 of Vado, N.M. died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002. Her family will hold a memorial service and interment of ashes at a later date.

Eleanor B. Nickels was born Jan. 22, 1919, in Omaha to John and Hannah Thall.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and John Cahoon of Kennard, son, John Nickels of Vado, two sisters, Alice Decker and Vivian Casebeer, both of Omaha, seven grand-children, and three great-grandchildren.
