Wm. F. Smith Dies in Omaha

William F. Smith, one-time Blair man, died Tuesday night at the Immanuel Hospital in Omaha. He was 94 years old. Mr. Smith was a brother of the late Grace Smith and Frances Smith, who, until their death, had lived at the corner of Nineteenth and Lincoln streets for almost fifty years. Mr. Smith was well known here.

He was born December 22, 1872 and grew to manhood in Blair. He has lived in Omaha for many years. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ethel Poessnecker and by a nephew Burtess Smith, both of Omaha. There are also a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at the Bendorf Funeral Home Friday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock. Burial will be in the Blair cemetery.
