Ray J. Snider, 61

Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 2 at the West Center Chapel in Omaha for Ray J. Snider, 61, of Kennard who died May 30, 1992 in an Omaha hospital. Burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery at Washington.

Ray J. Snider was born May 5, 1931 to Marion and Cleo Hall Snider. He married Nancy E. Mau.

He was a veteran of the Korean War and a sprinkler fitter by trade. He was a member of the Sprinkler Fitters Local No. 669 in Omaha.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy E. of Kennard; a daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Sandy Snider-Newman and Matt Newman, Omaha; his mother, Cleo, of Council Bluffs; a brother, Dean Lee of Council Bluff;s and aunt, Ione Lee of Council Bluffs; and his mother-in-law, Beaulah L. Mau of Alexandria, Nebraska.

Memorials may go to the American Lung Association.
