Former Countain Died In Minnesota

Word has been received in Blair of the death of Mrs. Anna Newkirk Thursday, Feb. 13th . Newkirk, a former Washington County resident, was born April 9, 1883 at Arlington.

Mrs. Newkirk is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Vera Oberprillar and Mrs. Opia Lois DeMars and two grandchildren, all of Minneapolis. A sister, Mrs. H.C. Petersen, of Blair and a number of nieces and nephews in Blair, also survive.

Her husband, Vern Newkirk, died July 19, 1958. Funeral services were held in Minneapolis.
