Ross E. Nicholson, 67

Services for Ross E. Nicholson, 67, of Blair will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 28, 1996, at First United Methodist Church in Blair. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery. He died March 25 at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.

Ross E. Nicholson was born on April 6, 1928, in Blair to Glenn and Edna Stricklett Nicholson. He graduated from Blair High School in 1945. He then served two years in the military.

On Nov. 18, 1962, he was united in marriage to Doris Woodard at the First United Methodist Church in Blair.

He worked as a designer-draftsman for Elliott Manufacturing and Omeco-Boss of Omaha and Bond Equipment in Logan, Iowa. While at Omeco-Boss and Bond Equipment he designed and drafted packing house equipment.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Doris of Blair; two sons and daughter-in-law, Scott and Suzanne of Blair and Kent and Jenaca of Blair; three granddaughters, Stacey, Ranae and Cora Jean; two sons and a great granddaughter by a previous marriage, Mark and Phillip, both of Omaha; brother, Glenwood of Omaha; two sisters, Edna Gutschow of Blair and Fern Bauman of Blair.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home of Blair is in charge of arrangements.
