Services Held For Alfred Nielsen Tuesday
Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 9, at Campbell Funeral Home for Alfred Dale Nielsen, Jr., 52, who died February 7, 1982, at his home in rural Kennard.
Rev. K. F. Kaleuati conducted the services. Burial was in Kennard Cemetery.
Alfred Dale Nielsen, Jr., was born March 21, 1929, at Kennard to Alfred S. and Edna Andersen Nielsen. He served in the United States Army in Camp Carson, Colorado, and was a veteran of the Korean War. His military service was from June 15, 1951, to June 6, 1953. He was a member of the Kennard American Legion.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred S. Nielsen of Blair; one sister, Mrs. Vernon (Marian) Christiansen of Blair; and two brothers, Warren Nielsen, Kennard, and Richard Nielsen.
Pall bearers were Keith Clapper, John Gilbert, Tim Gilbert, Bob Rix, Ronald Rosenbaum and Rick York.
Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.

Services Set For Alfred Nielsen, Jr.
Funeral services have been set for Alfred Nielsen, Jr. of Kennard. The Kennard Rescue Squad was called to the Nielsen farm Sunday afternoon, February 7th. Mr. Nielsen was a farmer in the Kennard area.
Services will be at the Campbell Funeral Home in Blair at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9th. Minister for the service will be Rev. K.F. Kaleuati. Burial will be in the Kennard Cemetery.
