MRS. ELMER NIELSEN DIES AT THE AGE OF 43

Audrey Nielsen, wife of Elmer Nielsen of Kennard, died at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha, November 23rd.

Mrs. Nielsen was born on September 22, 1907 at Johnstown, Nebraska and came to this county about twenty years ago and engaged in teaching school. Along with her school work she taught music at which she was adept.

In 1940 she was married to Elmer Nielsen and they made their home on a farm about five miles south of Kennard. Here a daughter, Theresa now about nine years of age, was born. She with the husband and father grieve deeply their great loss.

Mrs. Nielsen was a very likably person, always agreeable and helpful, and her neighbors join with the family in their sorrow.

Her mother, Mrs. Joe Cimek of Omaha survives as does a brother Angus Cameron of Eugene, Oregon.

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 25th at the Lutheran Church in Bennington and burial under the supervision of the Bendorf Funeral Home of Blair was made in the Prairie View Cemetery north of Washington and near her home where she spent ten happy years of married life.
