Funeral services were Friday, July 27 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair for Barbara Jean Nielsen, 57 of West Point who died July 24, 1990 at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point. Rev. Daniel Ritter officiated. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Barbara Jean Nielsen was born April 30, 1933 in Blair. She attended Fort Calhoun schools and graduated from Blair High School. She moved to West Point in 1953.

She is survived by three sons, Michael of Littleton, Colorado; Steve of Snyder and Duane of West Point; six brothers, Delbert Allen of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Dale Kephart of Omaha; Harold Kephart and Jim Kephart, both of Blair; and Vinton Kephart and Victor Kephart, both of Tekamah; and four grandchildren.

Ben Stalp Funeral Chapel in West Point was in charge of arrangements.
