Damon Nielsen Died At Hospital Last Sunday

Damon Nielsen, a lifelong resident of Blair, died last Sunday at the Blair Hospital. He had been in failing health for several years.

The deceased was born at Beldon, Nebraska, August 14, 1908. He was the son of Dr. and Mrs. Morris Nielsen. Dr. Nielsen was a well-known physician of the community.

He is survived by three brothers; Morris Jr. of Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey; Jules, of Brooklyn, New York and Vance, of Kearney, Nebraska.

Funeral services will be held at the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church at 10:00 o’clock this (Thursday) morning. The Rev. Robert Bee will conduct the service. Burial will be made in the Blair cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home.
