Peggy L. Christensen, 63, of Arlington, died Monday, Dec. 21, 2009, at the Fremont Area Medical Center.

Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday Dec. 24, at Arlington Community Church. Interment will be in the Arlington Cemetery.

Visitation began Wednesday, and will also be held one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.

Peggy L. Hall was born Aug. 31, 1946 in Fremont to Charles and Margaret (Badger) Hall. She grew up in Arlington and was a 1964 graduate of Arlington High School.

On Dec. 11, 1965, she married Ronald W. Christensen at Arlington.

She lived her entire life in Arlington, except for a short time living in California while her husband served in the military.

Mrs. Christensen was previously employed at the firm Equitable Federal Saving & Loan Co. in Fremont, and at the Arlington Veterinary Clinic, and was the bookkeeper for House Lumber Co. in Arlington.

She was a member of the Arlington Community Church and V.F.W. Auxiliary of Post No. 8332 of Arlington; and was a former member of the Arlington Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald; sons and daughter-in-law, Tom Christensen of Arlington, and Tyler and Jennifer Christensen of Elkhorn; daughter, Cindy Andrews of Elkhorn; daughter-in-law and spouse, Jobi and Toby Czapla of Omaha; brother and sister-in-law, William and Pat Hall off Thompson Falls, Mont.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Tim Christensen; and grandchild, R. J. Andrews.

Memorials are suggested to the Fremont Area Medical Center Hospice; the American Diabetes Association; or the Arlington Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington is in charge of arrangements.
