Peter Christensen, a farmer in the York Creek area southwest of Herman for many years, died at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair last Wednesday, September 20. He was 74 years of age.

He was retired from farming, his wife having preceded him in death, and he was making his home at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair. He was born in Horsen, Denmark November 7, 1898 and had come to America as a young man.

He is survived by a son, Raymond Christensen, of Omaha and by one granddaughter and one great-grandson. A sister, Mrs. Christensen, lives in Omaha.

Funeral services were held at the Campbell Mortuary in Blair last Saturday with the Rev. W. Clayton Nielsen conducting the service. Burial was made in the Herman Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Howard Widener, Robert Peterson, Robert Laughlin, Reuben Johnson, Einar Hansen and Joe Fitch.
