Services for Timothy C. Christensen, 26, of Arlington who died suddenly July 4, 1994 at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont were Thursday, July 7 at the Arlington Community Church at Arlington. Rev. Lee Milligan officiated. Burial was in the Arlington Cemetery with military graveside services conducted by members of the 561st Support Group of the United States Army Reserve in Omaha.

Timothy C. Christensen was born June 10, 1968 at Fremont. He lived in Arlington all his life and was a 1986 graduate of Arlington High School.

He was a member of the United States Army Reserve.

He was employed at Valmont Industries in Valley.

He was a member of the Arlington Volunteer Fire Department. He was active in boys wrestling at the YMCA and did IHRA racing (motorcycle racing) at Scribner.

He married Jobi Drefs April 10, 1992 in Omaha.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Jobi; a daughter, Carah; his parents, Rona and Peggy Christensen; brothers, Tom Christensen, and Tyler Christensen, all of Arlington; a sister Cindy (Mrs. Dar) Andrews of York, Nebraska; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Christensen of Kennard; and his mother-in-law, Dianne Drefs of Blair.

Pallbearers were Neil Schumacher, Kenny Reed, Rick Hilgenkamp, Brian Amundson, Seth Amundson, Brent McCormick, Todd Timm and Danny Ludwig.

Ruby House was organist. Melvin Misfeldt was soloist.

Memorials may go to the Arlington Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington was in charge of arrangements.
