Family funeral services were held at Roeder Mortuary, Omaha, June 3, for Victor Christensen who died June 1, 1987. He had been ill for several months.
Burial took place at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
He was born June 19, 1903, to Martin and Anna Lund Christensen on the family farm, southwest of Calhoun.
On June 5, 1943, he was united in marriage to Helen Allen in Omaha, where they resided.
He was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad from which he retired several years ago.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Chris Albert, Mathias and Russell; and sisters, Ann Neumann, Emma Born and Dorothy Allen.
He is survived by his wife Helen, step-daughter Arda Anderson, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, also by sisters Myrtle Blankenfeld, Lompoc, CA., Lorraine Wiese of Ft. Calhoun, and nephews and nieces.
