WM. CHRISTENSEN DIED AT BLAIR HOSPITAL THURSDAY

William Peter ChristensenK retired farmer living at 2156 Front Street, died Friday at the Blair Hospital. He was 76 years of age.

The deceased was born April 30, 1898, at Herman and had lived in Washington County all of his life.

His wife is the former Edna Yowell, of the Herman area, who survives her husband’s death.

A daughter, Mrs. Jack Silverman (Lela) lives at San Anselmo, California and a son, Kenneth Christensen, resides at Wahoo, Nebraska. There are seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Mary Nelson lives at Sacramento, California.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church at Herman Saturday, August 17th, with the Rev. Zack Kleinsasser conducting the service. Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Campbell Mortuary.

Pallbearers were Alvin Christensen, Nels Christensen, Jack Sorensen, Glenn Miller, Clyde Fitch and Joe Fitch.
