Services will be held Tuesday, June 27, at 2 p.m., at First Methodist Church in Blair for Sigart U. Anderson, 93, who died Sunday, June 25, at the Blair Hospital. Reverend Gordon Patterson will conduct the services. Interment will be at the Oakland, Nebraska, Cemetery.

Sigart U. Anderson was born May 2, 1885, in Stromsburg, Nebraska, to Andrew and Caroline Johnson Anderson. He married Anna V. Anderson on May 1, 1912. He farmed in Burt County until 1947 when he moved to Fremont. He moved to Blair following the death of his wife in October, 1974, and lived with his daughter, Fern Rathman.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Norman (Fern) Rathman, Blair; and one son, Erwin Anderson, Fremont. Two brothers, Emil Anderson, Lyons, Nebraska, and Melvin Anderson, Centerville, South Dakota; one sister, Ellen Anderson, Omaha, Nebraska; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive him.

Katy Flynn is organist for the services. Karen Flynn will provide the vocal music.
