Services for Carl Christiansen, 91 of Bushnell, who died July 11, 1992 in the Veteran’s Home at Scottsbluff, Nebraska, were Tuesday, July 14 at Cantrell Funeral Home at Kimball with Rev. Arthur E. Winkler officiating. Masonic services were conducted by the Kimball Masonic Lodge No. 294 A.F. & A.M. Burial with military honors was at Christus Garden Cemetery.

Carl Christiansen was born July 23, 1900 at Blair to Thomas and Meta Tronberg Christiansen. He worked with his parents on the family farm and later worked for the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.

He served in the United States Army near St. Louis in 1942.

He married Florence Nolte October 12, 1942 in Blair. They moved to western Nebraska in the fall of 1943 and had farmed near Bushnell since 1949.

He was a 50-year member of the Kimball Masonic Lodge No. 294 A.F. and A.M.

Survivors include his wife, Florence; a daughter, Karlene of Bushnell; a sister, Agnes Honeywell of Persia, Iowa and several cousins in the Blair area.
