Mrs. C. W. Christiansen, age 63, passed away early Wednesday morning at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Hilda Skov was born August 8, 1898 in Herman. On November 14, 1917 she was united in marriage to C. W. Christiansen and they lived on a farm near Herman until 1928 when they moved to Blair.

Mrs. Christiansen had a host of friends and was especially talented in creating original drills for lodges and special events, also in arranging outstanding table decorations. She was active in the work of the First Lutheran Matron of the O. E. S. Noble Grand of the Rebekahs and Oracle of Royal Neighbors.

Survivors besides her husband are a son, Eugene of Herman and a daughter, Mrs. Carl C. Sorensen (Viva Mae) of Blair. Also her father L. P. Skov, a sister, Mrs. Soren Jensen of Blair, two brothers, Alfred Skov of Blair and Victor Skov of Alta, Iowa and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the First Lutheran Church at 2 P.M. on Friday, May 11th. The Rev. George Pallesen will officiate and burial will be in the Blair Cemetery with the Bendorf Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Albeck, Robert Rasmussen, Hurlie Clements, Roy Follen, Howard Williamsen, and Alvin Svendgaard.
