MRS. CARL G. ANDERSON DIED IN FLORIDA

Mrs. Carl G. Anderson passed away August 1st at a hospital in Ocia, Florida, following a brief illness.

Thelma Gwendolyn Zulauf was born in Jackson, Nebraska on October 24, 1899. She graduated from the St. Catherine Academy at Jackson, and later taught school in the Rose Hill and Wranch Schools in Washington County. On November 27, 1922, she was married to Carl G. Anderson and they made their home in Chicago.

Mrs. Anderson studied at the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago and also at the Sherwood School of Music where she was affiliated as an instructor of music. She taught in the Chicago elementary schools and also instructed private pupils in piano for many years. She served as president of the Chicago Woman’s Music Club during their 50th Anniversary.

Mr. and Mrs. Anderson made their home in Aurora, Illinois during the summer and at Orange Blossom Hills at Summerfield, Florida during the winter, but remained in Florida this year.

They are the parents of one daughter, Mrs. Edith Hosteland of Elmhurst, Illinois. Other survivors besides Mr. Anderson are four grandchildren, David, Paul, Barbara and Lisa. Also two brothers, Dr. Walter Zulauf, M.D., of California and Dr. Roy Zulauf, D.D.S., Mortongrove, Illinois.

Services were held at Bellview, Florida on Saturday afternoon. Prayer Services were held at the Campbell Mortuary Chapel at 2 p.m. on Tuesday. Dr. C.C. Madsen officiated. On Friday, funeral services will be at the Grace Bible Church in Elmhurst, Illinois where interment will take place.
