Caroline Snowdon, 96, Died Aug. 17

Mrs. Carolyn Snowdon died at the Imanuel Lutheran Hospital in Omaha at the age of 96.

Caroline Beckman was born at Fontanelle on April 12th, 1870 to Mr. and Mrs. John Philip Beckman.

After her marriage to George Snowdon she lived in Blair. Mr. Snowdon died in 1915.

During the past years she has lived with her children, Mrs. Herman Lallman (Ruth) of Winslow, Wallace Snowdon of Blair and for the past ten years with her daughter Mrs. George Hansen (Marie) of Omaha.

She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Home at 2 P.M. on Saturday. The Rev. G.F. Jansson of Winslow officiated. Burial was in the Blair Cemtery.

Pallbearers were Robbie Andersen, Arthur Hansen, Louie Voss, Ferdinand Wiese, Andrew Wiese and A. Augie Matzen.
