Dona Marie Erickson, 61

Dona Marie Erickson, 61, of Tekamah, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at her home in Tekamah.

A memorial service will be planned for a later date.

Dona was born Nov. 16, 1952, in Omaha, to Harold and Margery (Prusha) Devney.

Dona grew up in Omaha, then moved to Fort Calhoun. She then lived in California and Arizona before returning home to Nebraska.

She is survived by her longtime companion, Lee Biesendorfer; her daughter, Melonie Erickson; her son, Mark Erickson; two grandchildren; one brother, Harold Devney; and two sisters: Sharon Brooke and Barbara Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Margery and Harold Devney; and her brother, Wesley Devney.

Pelan Funeral Services in Tekamah is in charge of arrangements.
