Services for Irene Mae Andersen, who died November 24, 1989 at her home north of Blair, were held Monday, November 27 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Burial was in the Kennard Cemetery with Rev. Owen Wilmot officiating.

Irene May Coulter Andersen was born July 17, 1904 to William and Eva Hitchcock Coulter on a farm west of Blair. She was the second of nine children.

She married William Andersen on March 23, 1933 in Fremont, Nebraska. They farmed in the Spiker area until his death in November, 1964.

Irene spent the next year and a half keeping house in Hooper, Nebraska then came to keep house for Glenn Thompson in April, 1966, where she made her home until her death. She was a member of the Grange for over 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers, and one sister.

Surviving is her very dear and close friend, Glenn Thompson of Blair; a brother, Lloyd Coulter of Missouri Valley, Iowa; a sister, Anna Grover of Milwaukee, Oregon and many nieces and nephews.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
