Bessie M. Basler, 80

Services for Bessie M. Basler, 80 of Hooper who died February 21, 1995 at the Hooper Care Center were Thursday, February 23 at Warne-Johnson Funeral Home in Hooper.

Rev. Greg Berger officiated. Burial was in the Hooper Cemetery.

Bessie Williamsen was born November 18, 1914 to Theodore and Stella Christensen Williamsen. She attended Thone School to the eighth grade in rural Herman.

She married Leo Basler in Omaha in 1938.

They owned and operated Basler Sinclair Station until 1954. She worked at the Mines Drug Store from 1955 until retiring in 1982.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Her husband, Leo preceded her in death September 10, 1965. She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by one sister, Marian Sauer of Omaha and nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Dr. Rodney S. W. Basler, Tom Sauer, Darrel Williamsen, Grey Martin, Jerry Martin and LeeRoy Williamsen.

Shelly Martin was organist.
