DIED.. On March 13, of diphtheria, near Kennard, Christian Robert Christiansen, aged 6 years 4 months and 13 days.

Robert was a very bright child, obedient to his parents and a child that would win the affections of all with whom he came in contact. He was sick only a few days and his parents did not think he was seriously ill until sometime Saturday night when he became very bad; but all was done for him that could be done by parents, doctor and nurse.

“Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not for of such is the kingdom of Heaven.”

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. P. J. Spraker, at the house and the remains were laid to rest in the Kennard cemetery.
