She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point, the Christian Mothers and the church guild.
She married Ben J. Batenhorst April 21, 1920 at West Point. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons. Ed and Chris, both of West Point and Bruno of Blair; five daughters, Gert Wiegert of Beemer, Mary Ann Tomrdle of Wayne, Wilma Lane of Lake City, Minnesota; Evelyn Collins of Wets Point and Margaret Mary Arter of Norfolk; two sisters, Clara Pottebaum and Agnes Suhr and two brothers, Fran Hunke and Anton Hunke, all of West Point and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
