Norman Lee Bauer, 57, of Gresham, Ore., died Tuesday, Nov.11, 1997 in Florida of a heart attack.

Services were Monday at Bateman Carroll Funeral Chapel in Oregon. Burial was in the Willamette National Cemetery at Portland, Ore.

Mr. Bauer was born Sept. 22, 1940, in Villisca, Iowa. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps.

In 1962, he married Pam Hankins. A ramp service worker for United Airlines for 36 years, he retired in 1995.

Survivors are his wife Pam; a daughter, Kimberly Babb of Vancouver, Wash.; parents, Alvin and Minnie Bauer of Blair; a brother, Larry Bauer of Fremont, Neb.; sisters, Linda Thanasides of Tampa, Fla.; and Barbara Ellis of Reno, Nev.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra.

Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
