Barbara Baxter, 75

Blair native Barbara (Fischer) Baxter, 75, of Westminster, Colo., died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, at the Newcomer Family Mortuary, 7277 W. Colfax Avenue, Lakewood, Colo. Interment will be at a later date in the Blair Cemetery.

Barbara Baxter was born May 27, 1928, in Blair to Evald and Marie Fischer.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Baxter of Westminster; daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila Baxter and Tony Carra of Castle Rock, Colo., Carol and Ted Mahan of Sour Lake, Texas, and Jody Kucera of Howells; sons and daughter-in-law, Bill and Pam Baxter of Aurora, Colo., and Bob Baxter of Fremont; sisters, Evalyn Hulst of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Shirley Mohr of Fullerton, Calif; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
