Leroy F. Baxter Died Sunday, Services Tuesday

Funeral services will be held Tuesday for Leroy Franklin Baxter, 84 years of age, who died Sunday at the McBride Nursing Home.

The services will be held at two o’clock at the Assembly of God Church, the Rev. Magnus Anderson officiating with interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Baxter was born December 30, 1880 in Blair and has resided in Washington County his entire life. Prior to retiring he was in the bee business. Mr. and Mrs. Baxter were married June 16, 1920 in Blair.

Mr. Baxter is survived by his wife, Margaret; son, William E. of Fremont; daughters, Miss Dorothy Baxter of New York City, Mrs. Melvin Hewett (Iris) of Papillion, Mrs. Vern Tuttle (Betty; of Kennard, Mrs. Maxine Kindler of Lincoln, Mrs. Russ Taveson (Marjorie) of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; a brother Ira Baxter of Blair; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Seigel of Los Angeles and 16 grand¬children.

The Bendorf Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
