Funeral services will be held at Campbell Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26th, for Dorothy A. Nielsen, 76, who passed away at the Blair Hospital on April 23, 1985. Reverend Thorvald Hansen will officiate and Clare Cowing will be the organist. Burial will be made in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brad Ryan, Don Ryan, Don Kohler, Willie Ryan, Rick Nielsen, Dan Nielsen and Jerry Danner.

Dorothy was born on February 24, 1909 at Blair, Nebraska to Donald and Ethel (Bigelow) Jones. She was a graduate of Blair High School. On January 27, 1934, she was married to Leth Nielsen in Harlan, Iowa. In past years she had been employed at a Blair newspaper and for the Gas Company, and was a member of the Royal Neighbors.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, George Ryan (1931). Survivors include her husband, Leth; sons, George Ryan and Dick Nielsen, both of Blair, sister, Janet Davis of Honolulu, Hawaii; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Margaret Wilkins of Grand Island, Nebraska.
