Ione Nielsen, 84

Memorial services for Ione Nielsen, 84, of Blair, were held Monday, July 8, 2002, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home. Mrs. Nielsen died Wednesday, July 3, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair.

Ione Nielsen was born May 30, 1918, in Green Bay, Wis., to John and Lena (Stern) Christensen. She graduated from Dana College in June 1940.

On Dec. 23, 1942, she married Homer Nielsen in Green Bay. She was a member of First Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Homer; daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Stephen Refsell of Little Rock, Ark., Sharon and George Rozanski of Omaha; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Claire Elise; brother, Donald; and sisters, Romelda and June.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
