Services for Leslie M. Nielsen, 79 of Omaha were Monday, April 17, 1995 at Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Omaha. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

He was a retired employee of Northwestern Bell.

He is survived by his wife, Clara Hupp Nielsen; sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Susan Schicker, Richard and Patricia Schicker, all of Omaha; Jerry and Patricia Schicker of Orlando, Florida; Mike and Jennie Schicker, fort Worth, Texas; Joe and Janet Schicker, North Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Karan Schicker, Omaha; brothers, Martin Nielsen, Blair; Clayton, Seattle, Washington; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

In lieu of traditional remembrances the family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.

Heafey-Heafey-Hoffman Dworak-Cutler Vinton St. Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
