Crystal Lynn (Edwards) Peters, 38

(Photo) Crystal Lynn Peters, 38, of Phoenix, Ariz., died Monday, Nov. 17, 2014.

A viewing will be 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, prior to funeral services at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair. Services begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by burial in Rosehill Cemetery in Orum with a luncheon following.

Crystal was born to Patricia “Tuttle” Edwards and the late Lonnie “Lee” Edwards, July 8, 1976, in Galveston, Texas.

Crystal graduated from Blair High School in 1994. She married Dane Massey. During this union they bore two beautiful sons: Elijah Rane Massey and Hudson Gray Massey. She married Mikki Peters of Phoenix, Ariz.

She was engaged to Kim Cox at the time of her death.

Her love and passion was spending time with her boys. She loved them unconditionally and there are no words to describe how she felt about them. Loving them does not explain it well enough.

She loved animals. So much so that she carried around baggies full of dog food and water in the back of her car for animals that were homeless.

She displayed her other passion to Phoenix Pride. Crystal was a member of the Human Rights Campaign.

Crystal is survived by two children: Elijah Rane and Hudson Gray Massey of Mesa; mother Patricia Garretson; sister Julie Rogers (Scott Rogers); fiancé Kim Cox; grandparents: Betty Tuttle and Jack and Raye Edwards; aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family and friends who love her and will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by spouse Mikki Peters; grandfather Vern Tuttle; and father Lonnie Edwards.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Crystal Peters fund at Washington County Bank in Blair.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair is in charge of arrangements.
