Services Held Last Week for M Sievers

Funeral services were held at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun last Wednesday, Sept. 24, for Marguerite E. Sievers of Omaha, who passed away on September 21, 1981 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, following a short illness. Reverend Doug Darnold officiated at the service, which was under the direction of Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home. Burial was made in Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Marguerite Chatwood was born in Kingston, Wisconsin to Edward and Effie Chatwood on August 14, 1905. She was married in 1928 to Walter Sievers, and they spent their first 22 years of married life in Chicago, then moving to Omaha, where they lived up to this time.

Mrs. Sievers is survived by her husband, sister-in-law Dorothy Sievers, brother-in-law, Richard Sievers, two nieces, seven great-nieces and nephews, and two great-great-nephews.

Pallbearers were John Loudon, Gordon Saffer, Geoge Deras, Dr. Hugh McDonnell, Mark Besack, and Cy Arnold.
