James Snyder Is Buried In Fremont

Funeral services for James J. Snyder, 36, formerly of Fremont, were Thursday, November 8, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. The Rev. Merle Zook of the First United Methodist Church officiated. Snyder died in an automobile accident Monday night.

Born May, 1943, in Morse Bluff, he lived in Dodge and Burt counties all his life.

Snyder served in the U.S. Army for four years, stationed in Germany.

He married Mary Ann Frye on August 17, 1964, in Blair. She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, James J. Jr., and Todd, both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nye Snyder, Sr., Fremont, two brothers, Anton, Blair, and Nye, Fremont; sisters: Mrs. Virgil (Helen) Jacobs, Blair; Mrs. Norman (Marian) Rohloff, Mrs. Elmer (Amelia) Melroy, and Mrs. James (Leona) Watson, all of Fremont.

Military graveside services were conducted at Ridge Cemetery by the Fremont American Legion Post No. 20 and the Fremont VFW Post No. 854.
