Jean I. Snyder, 76

Blair native Jean I. Snyder, 76, of Fountain Hills, Ariz., died Tuesday, June 14, 2005, from complications of an infection at the Scottsdale Health Care Center.

Interment will be 9 a.m. Friday, June 24, at the National Cemetery in Cave Creek, Ariz. A memorial service follows at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fountain Hills.

Jean I. Snyder was born June 27, 1928, in Blair.

On Aug. 15, 1947, she married Harry C. Snyder of Blair. Mr. and Mrs. Snyder moved to Fremont, where they lived and raised their three children.

In 1988, the couple moved to Carefree, Ariz. After her husband’s death in July 2000, Mrs. Snyder moved to Fountain View Village in Fountain Hills.

She is survived by her three children, Virginia of Fountain Hills; Sandra of Denver, Colo., and Harry “Pat” of Tarkio, Mo; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church in Fountain Hills.
