Nye Snyder, 82

Funeral services for Nye Snyder, 82, of Fremont, who died September 23 at Arbor Manor in Fremont were Wednesday September 26 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Leland Foreman officiated. Burial was in Ridge Cemetery in Fremont.

Nye Snyder was born February 4, 1908 in Fremont. He grew up and lived there until 1933.

He lived in Central City, Valley, and Arlington before moving to Tekamah in 1941. He returned to Fremont in 1971.

He was a farmer before retiring in 1971.

He married Helen Eckstein April 18, 1933 in Fremont. She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Anton of Blair and Nye, Jr. of Fremont; four daughters, Helen (Mrs. Virgil) Jacobs of Blair; and Marian (Mrs. Norman) Rohloff, Amelia (Mrs. Elmer) Melroy and Leona (Mrs. James) Watson, all of Fremont; a brother, Jess of Arlington; a sister, Esther (Mrs. Earl) Martens of Fremont; 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
