MRS. A NIELSEN SERVICES AT KENNARD FRIDAY

Services for Mrs. Muriel Bernice Nielsen were held Friday, May 12 at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard. Rev. Robert Albers officiated and burial was in the Kennard Cemetery with the Campbell Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were her nephews.

Mrs. Nielsen passed away on Wednesday, May 10 at Blair Community Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was 69 years of age and made her home in Kennard.

She was born May 6, 1903 in Randolph, Nebraska. Her family later moved to Kennard where she attended school and graduated with the class of 1922. She married Andrew Nielsen on March 21, 1923 and they have made their home in Washington County since that time. She was employed at the Good Shepherd home for the past 10 years.

Survivors are he husband Andrew Nielsen, 2 children, Louis Nielsen of Kennard and Mrs. Sheldon (Jennilou) Warrick of Blair. There are 4 sisters, Mrs. Gertrude West, Mrs. Jennie Leptien, Mrs. Dema Tucker all of Blair and Mrs. Hattie Hall of Wayne. There are 4 grand-children and 2 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Nielsen was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mr. Dick Stricklett of Blair and a brothers, Lloyd Stricklett, of Racine, Wisc.

Services For Mrs. Nielsen To Be Friday

Services for Muriel Bernice Nielsen will be held on Friday, May 12th. Mrs. Nielsen died on Wednesday, May 10th in the Blair Community Memorial Hospital at the age of 69. Mrs. Nielsen made her home in Kennard, Nebraska.

Mrs. Nielsen was born May 6, 1903 in Wyoming. She was married to Andrew Nielsen who preceded her in death. There are two surviving children: Louis Nielsen, also of Kennard, and Mrs. Sheldon (Jennilou) Warrick of Blair. There are also four sisters to Mrs. Nielsen. They are: Mrs. Gertrude West, Blair; Mrs. Jennie Leptien, Blair; Mrs. Dema Tucker, Blair and Mrs. Hattie Hall of Wayne. There are four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be a 2 p.m. at the Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard with Rev. Robert Albers officiating. Burial will be in the Kennard Cemetery with the Campbell Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be nephews.
