Jerrold E. Shotwell, 63, of Blair, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. No services are scheduled.

Jerrold E. Shotwell was born Dec. 11, 1946, in Aberdeen, S.D., to Arnold and Betty (Holbert) Sparby. He graduated from Washington High School in Sioux Falls, S.D., and, after graduation, entered the United States Navy, serving from September 1965 to September of 1967.

He worked at Blair Glass for many years. In 1979, he married Carol Herron in Blair.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; daughters and sons-in-law, Megan and Kris Rude, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Jackie and Pat Bjork, Omaha; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Anne Shotwell of Blair; nine grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Rick Richtarcik, Atlanta, Ga.
