The death of Edward Niemann, a well known resident of this vicinity, occurred Wednesday morning at Fremont hospital. Mr. Niemann had been confined there for several weeks taking treatments for a complication of diseases. He was born at Quiney, Ill., in 1865 and removed to Washington county with his parents. He leaves to mourn his death his mother, Mrs. Hannah Niemann, and one brother, Henry, both of this place. Short services were held at the Niemann home east of town Friday afternoon and the body taken to *Brown Creek church where the funeral was held, Rev. Wolters officiating. Interment was made in the Brown Creek cemetery in the family lot.
